‘Adventure is something that is daring. It deviates from the norm of working 9-5 and grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s on the weekends.

Adventure is exploring places you’ve never been, meeting people you’ve never met, and doing things you’ve never done.
Adventure isn’t always leaving the state. Adventure is exploring your own home state. It’s road tripping to wherever a road will take you. It’s peering into each cave, over each hill, and exploring each and every nook and cranny.
Adventure is sometimes hopping in your car or on your bike with no particular destination in mind.
Adventure is getting out and being bold. It’s trying new foods and new activities to say you’ve done it.
Adventure is romance…
For some, adventure is seeing two pink lines and announcing you’re pregnant. I’ve watched my friends go through all the stages of pregnancy to toddlerhood to school age. I’m in awe at the adventure of parenting (natural, adopted, or role model). When you raise little humans to love, to explore, and to enjoy life – you deserve an award. It’s not for the faint of heart, but I hear it’s worth it!
Adventure is going out on your own. It’s forging your own path and pursuing your dreams even if it’s not the norm or what’s expected of you.
Adventure is sleeping under the stars, enjoying campfire chats with friends, and waking up in time for sunrise.

Adventure is conquering a new challenge like learning to fly, learning a new language so you can travel, paying off your debt (financial freedom for the win!), buying a house, starting a business, or running a marathon.
Adventure leaves us with a new story to tell. A tall tale of far away lands and dragon slaying. Even if it was only brushing off a pesky salamander that crawled up your leg on the hike (it looked like a dragon to me!).
Adventure shakes up our day-to-day tasks and lightens the stress and worries we face. It makes us smile, laugh, and sometimes cry, but we’re always stronger and better for it.
Adventure faces the unknown. It starts with a challenge, but it contains freedom, a release, a break from the norm, and it’s FUN. We all need fun.
And we all need a little adventure in our lives.
Life is the biggest adventure you’ll ever have and it’s full of tiny awesome adventures. Let’s fill up our adventure bowls and our lives with purpose and meaning.’
